Мета:
активізувати в усному мовленні знання з вивченої теми, практикувати монологічні висловлювання з опорою на виконані ними проекти, розширити знання про історичне минуле країни, мова якої вивчається , розвивати навички самостійної роботи з додатковим матеріалом ( на основі якого учні підготували свої проекти) , виховувати серйозне ставлення до вивчення іноземної мови, бажання спілкуватися іноземною мовою.

Очікувані результати:

— розуміти бесіду, брати в нії участь;

You have learned English for five years and as a result you can read, write and speak English. Today we are going to show how we deal with English speaking. Our topic today is “ Queens and Kings of Great Britain. Is it interesting? How do you think? Why?

So, we are speaking of Great Britain now. Let’s start. Are you ready? Answer the questions, please.

- What is GB ?
- What is the capital city of GB?
- Who is on the English throne now, a queen or a king? ( slide)
- What is her name?
- Where does she live when she is in London? ( the answer is the next slide)

III. Reading.
Preparing for this lesson we have read o lot of texts about queens, kings and London. One of them is “ Buckingham Palace “. Let’s think about some questions. ( the questions are on the screen)
- Buckingham Palace is two places, not one. How?
- Why is it like a small town?
- Are there many clocks?
- How many dogs does the Queen have?
- What newspaper does she read?
- What sort of music does the piper play?
- Why do people have five glasses on the table?
- Who does the Queen speak to during a meal ?
- What happens when the Queen finishes her dinner?

IV. Speaking . Міні -говоріння. Учні згадують і кажуть вголос речення про Букінгумський палац, що вони запам’ятали з тексту. Потім діти переказують частини тексту , не дивлячись в нього.
