Тема: W. Shakespeare is the greatest writer overcoming ages.
Мета: активізувати пізнавальну діяльність, розвивати інтерес до вивчення англійської мови та культурної спадщини Великобританії, зокрема до творчості В. Шекспіра.
практична: створити умови для формування вміння учнів брати участь в обговоренні на основі отриманих знань з теми, удосконалювати навички читання, аудіювання;
освітня: розширити кругозір учнів, висвітлити основні факти життя і творчості Шекспіра; ознайомити з крилатими виразами та ідіомами;
розвивальна: розвивати логічне мислення, зорову пам'ять, довільну увагу;
виховна: виховувати позитивне ставлення до англійської літератури, повагу до культури країни, мова якої вивчається.
Обладнання: портрет В.Шекспіра, роздатковий матеріал, відео матеріал.
